Speaking of identity. How has your identity changed since becoming a father? Did you find parenthood seems to simply add another level to your ever evolving identity, or did you find it obliterated part of you that you've had to rebuild?

The problem with identity is that it is a culmination of our experiences and how we interpret them. As I get older and experience more of life's offerings, I find myself naturally further away from the seemingly significant events in the past that grow more irrelevant daily. Especially when my new experiences, circumstances and intentions contradict an image that I have spent years building. However, parenthood and marriage in one fell swoop have completely destroyed me preconceptions of everything I have ever thought
